Anthony Bosio

F.A.Q.

I can imagine it is somehow possible that my site did not answer all of your questions. Here’s one last try to cover everything you might want to know and maybe some things you didn’t. Of course, you should definitely call me with your other questions.

Are you available for full-time/ part-time/ freelance/ contract work?

I am available for freelance work or full-time employment.

If we hire you for freelance work, do you have your own equipment?

I have a dual 2.5GHz PowerMac G5, Wacom Tablet, DVD-RW, CD-RW. A miniDV camera. A Nikon D70 6MP SLR. 30GB iPOD (woohoo!...seriously good for moving files)

You seem to be very Macintosh oriented, do you know how to use Windows?

I am very familiar with Windows and have spent a fair amount of time helping the Windows users at my previous jobs with various technical support issues.

What is your salary requirement?

The truth is, that’s not really what I’m about. I know that is so cliché. But it’s true. Just take a look at my career philosophy. In any case, make me an offer. I’m sure it will be fair.

What is the deal with those XHTML/CSS links at the bottom of your page?

The World Wide Web Consortium — Sounds like something from the X-Files, right? — is the internet standards body that “develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential as a forum for information, commerce, communication, and collective understanding.” The links will automatically submit the page you are on to the W3C validator for XHTML or CSS respectively. It is important to validate your code to ensure it will work properly in future browsers on different kinds of devices.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I’m a major movie-buff. I read a lot about design, filmmaking and culture. I enjoy photography and I play guitar, mostly for myself.

How would you answer the Bernard Pivot Questionnaire?

I just happen to have that right here.
